An alumna of the Teen Arts Council, Cecelia Halle is currently an undergraduate student at the George Washington University studying Art History and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies with a focus on contemporary art. An avid writer and musician, Cecelia spends much of her free time writing about gender theory, urbanization/gentrification, and contemporary art, and playing in several bands in the DC metropolitan area. She is greatly interested in the institutional capacity of museums to be spaces where youth can freely organize around justice and art, and hopes to eventually become a teacher for a youth program just like the one she attended at the ICA.
