Covid-19 Policies

Starting Saturday, March 5, face coverings will be optional for ICA visitors in accordance with City of Boston guidelines. Within the ICA’s education spaces, face coverings must be worn by all (including teens, educators, teaching artists, and staff) at all times, regardless of vaccination status. See our FAQs on Covid-19 Policies for details.

The Teen Gallery at Seaport Studio is always free for people of all ages. No tickets are required. The ICA is also free for people who are 18 and under. Timed tickets are required. To get tickets with no service fee, visit the admissions desk in person. (You can get tickets online, but a $4 service fee will be applied.) Learn more about visiting during Covid-19.

Olivia N.

Hi, my name is Olivia! I am a high school student who loves photography. I have always found taking pictures of people to be one of my favorite activities since I owned a phone. Photography has become my form of self expression. I received a camera for Christmas in 2021, which is when I took my hobby of photography a bit more seriously. Immediately after receiving the camera I took to research how cameras work, and the vast topic of composition. This prompted my dad to recommend taking this class, which I excitedly agreed to. In this class, I had the amazing opportunity to use a professional-level camera and have a hands-on learning experience to grow comfortable with using manual mode. Using a camera used to seem unfathomable to me, but I have grown so casual to it. The photos I have chosen for my portfolio reflect what I enjoy taking photos of the most. I adore portrait photography, photographing my friends, and casually taking photos whenever I find something interesting.
