ICA Teen Arts Council Program Application
Teen Arts Council (TAC) is a group of paid teens from the Boston area that amplifies teen voices and contemporary art by creating events and resources for other teens. TAC's work focuses on addressing social issues, as well as connecting teens with contemporary art, the ICA, and each other. The group values art as a form of expression as well as a tool for activism.

TAC organizes events throughout the year to connect with teens. This includes teen nights--events filled with artmaking, performances, and fun--as well as The Current which focuses on socio-political issues that affect teens in Boston. The group also interacts with exhibiting artists and creates resources about art and artists for other teens.

Use this application to apply for the Summer 2024 and/or School Year 2024–2025 Programs.

Summer 2024 Program Details
- meets Tue & Thu, 12–4 PM, Jul 9–Aug 13, plus Wed, Aug 7, 4–10 PM
- 50 hours total
- payment $900 

School Year 2024–2025 Program Details
- meets Thu, 4–7 PM, Sep 5, 2024–May 8, 2025 plus Sat, Sep 14, 11 AM–3 PM, Fri, Oct 25, 4–9:30 PM, Fri, Mar 14, 4:30–8:30 PM, and Fri, Apr 11 4–9:30 PM
- does not meet during holidays or vacation weeks for the Boston Public Schools
- 100 hours total
- payment $1,800

Eligibility
To apply, you must be:
- headed into 10th, 11th, or 12th grade for the 2024–2025 School Year
- at least 14 years old
- legally permitted to work in the United States

You don't need to be an artist or have prior experience with art to apply! If you are interested in community engagement, contemporary art, and leadership, we encourage you to apply. We are especially excited to receive applications from Boston Public School students. 

We aim to create a diverse group of people with a wide range of important perspectives. Please answer all questions intentionally.
