ICA Teen Exhibitions Program Application
Teen Exhibitions Program (TEP) is a group of paid teens from the Boston area that work together to plan, curate, and install artwork in the Teen Galleries located at the ICA’s Seaport Studio. 

As a member of TEP, you will organize two exhibitions a year to amplify teen art and invite teens in Boston and beyond to engage with the artwork. You will work with other teens to imagine the possibilities of what this exhibition space can look like. You will also work with ICA staff to design exhibitions, install artwork, and create happenings to engage the community with the work. 

Use this application to apply for the Summer 2024 and/or School Year 2024–2025 Programs.

Summer 2024 Program Details
- meets Mon, Jul 1, 11 AM–4:30 PM plus Wed & Fri, 11 AM–3 PM, Jul 3–Aug 9 (on Fri, Jul 19 and Fri, Aug 2 meets instead at 3–9 PM)
- does not meet on Fri, Jul 5
- 50 hours total
- payment $900 

School Year 2024–2025 Program Details
- meets Tue, 4–7 PM, Sep 10, 2024–May 6, 2025 plus Sat, Sep 14, 11 AM–3 PM, Fri, Oct 18, 4–9 PM, Thu, Dec 19, 4–7 PM, Fri, Feb 7, 4–9 PM, and Fri, Apr 18, 4–9 PM
- does not meet during holidays or vacation weeks for the Boston Public Schools
- 100 hours total
- payment $1,800

Eligibility
To apply, you must be:
- headed into 10th, 11th, or 12th grade for the 2024–2025 School Year
- at least 14 years old
- legally permitted to work in the United States

You don't need to be an artist or have prior experience with art to apply! If you are interested in community engagement, contemporary art, and leadership, we encourage you to apply. We are especially excited to receive applications from Boston Public School students. 

We aim to create a diverse group of people with a wide range of important perspectives. Please answer all questions intentionally.
